ACSO was founded in 1969 at Asilomar as a means of sharing information and resources for California orchestras. Thirty-nine years later, we have expanded those services to include more skill-building workshops, management consultations, job postings, national and statewide advocacy, monthly calendars of orchestras' schedules, field statistics and data, and this website stocked with all manner of resources for you to use. We welcome you to become an Individual Member, Organizational Member or Business Member  and join the family of California's more than 150 orchestras and choruses.
